Payday - late credit

Today I was paid late and as a result, my bank balance went into negative figures...

Will this impact my credit history?

Presumably you don't have an authorised overdraft?

How soon can you rectify the account? is it significantly overdrawn or just a few pounds?

It could be reported to the credit reference agencies.
But some banks won't report if it is only over for a day or so, and some banks have a buffer zone even if you don't have an agreed overdraft.

I don't have an authorised overdraft, no - not very keen on them at all. It was my car insurance for £108. I got paid around half way through the day and the balance went positive again.

In that case very unlikely that it would be reported to the credit reference agencies, although technically they could.
