Don't care either wayMost of the RC's i see are from 'stay at home mum' bloggers usually offering tat.
Also i always thought they just remained on the main page.as mostly they're entered and forgotten about., like normal comps
Some (possibly a fair number) are daily and they get added to the daily RC/Gleam thread, the others just get posted on the main board.0 -

i will keep the poll open for a while. thanks everyone who has voted so far
Yes, seems a waste of your time and efforts if no one is really using it. At least the poll will give you an idea of numbers.:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Ditch itThere doesn't seem to be very much on it unless I'm not reading it properly.0

Hence the reason for the poll!0 -
Keep itI use the R/G thread and I am grateful to WeAreGhosts for keeping it updated, although I just check for new posts and bookmark. I don't venture onto the main board very often...I just bookmark and subscribe to the regulars threads. I noticed a drop in R/G posts being added after Christmas.
Previously they were on the Dailies thread and there were loads of posts on that thread because of both types of comps and it got a bit overwhelming.
I disagree that the rafflecopters are all mummy blogs because there have been ocassional things like phones and giftcards on offer.
Having said that, it seems to be like many of the prizes 'happen' to go to other bloggers (may be coincidence, I don't know).
Anyway, I am desperate to help on the boards and would love to run a thread but I have to be realistic every time I am tempted to volunteer. I don't do much comping as it is and some days I can't even manage to get out of bed with my disability so I can't take on any tasks that I will just fail at.
I know that a new thread needs to be started and everything copied and pasted, which would take me a whole day.
So, my two cents are...I would prefer it kept as is but at the very least still linked on the Dailies thread, if not.
I am very, very grateful to all of the thread runners and posters.0 -
Ditch itWould the thread be deleted or just left to fade away lol?0

thank you defairmans for your input.
i think one of the problems around stopping it would be if someone started posting loads of RCs and someone would inevitable ask in the future about why there isn't a RC daily thread!
so that's something to think about ....
i vaguely remember someone asking why we have a regulars sub-board and why can't people just bookmark the daily/weekly ones posted on the main board ..... quite a few were in favour
sometimes though it is good to be able to just look down a list if you have been away a while (or like defairmans, if they cant keep up with the main board for whatever reason) .0 -
Ditch itQuite a few rafflecopters being posted now - so do you plan to keep the tread?:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Don't care either wayIf you don't want to do it, don't, you don't need the stress of it all.
People are more than able to put them into their own folders as they see them on the board, If they moan they should have made the effort to help collate them to the rafflecopter list. People can't have it all laid out for them, they are adults and if they can find this forum they can find a way to bookmark them.
