there's been a lack of activity on it for a while (but thanks to those members who do post in it).
i said when i took it on that i don't really enter RC/Gleam comps and that sometimes you need to enter the comp to see if there is a daily entry ... which i obviously wouldn't know about if i don't enter them, and i am not about to start entering comps for stuff i don't want ...
i have previously asked if anyone else wants to take over, but havent heard anything from anyone.
so, please answer the poll ... and if anyone wants to take over then please say

Don't care either wayIf it was ditched, would the RC/Gleam daily entries be added back to the main Daily Thread? I think I recall objection to them being there.
I don't use either thread, so I don't mind what happens to them for myself. I do have a strong preference though for every comp being posted on the main board.0 -
Ditch itOnly 1 person wants it kept so looks like it should be ditched, unless this 1 person wants to take it on?:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
-
Ditch itI always had an inkling that it was introduced to accommodate one particular forum user, who has not posted an RC on the boards for some time now.
So ditch it.0 -
Ditch itWho do you mean Mclarkie? I thought it had been running for ages? Where were the raffles before the thread? Among the dailies:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Well without mentioning names there was a very prolific RC advocate who posted lots of RC blog comps on the daily thread and some people suggested the RC/Gleams have their own thread. as it was difficult to see the wood for the trees so to speak.
So there you have it, that was a brief history of the RC daily thread as I remember it.
I will now hang up my anorak0 -
Ditch itThanks Mclarkie. There are still a fair few posted by regulars to maybe one of those might take over the thread. I never use the thread so it doesn't bother me at all if it stays or goes.:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Ditch itMost of the RC's i see are from 'stay at home mum' bloggers usually offering tat.
Also i always thought they just remained on the main page.as mostly they're entered and forgotten about., like normal comps0 -
Ditch itLINZ1979 posts loads of Rafflecopters perhaps they would like to take over?0

Keep itIf I come across a Rafflecopter that has a decentish prize and a daily entry component I add it to my 'Dailies' bookmark folder. As an end date comper I'd quite like them on a thread, not bothered which one. But I want my cake and eat it as I don't have time to keep a thread updated.
So really I should shut my pie holeComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%
SEALED POT CHALLENGE MEMBER No. 428 2015 - £210.930 -
just to clarify - i have no problem running the thread, but there is no point in me running it if barely anyone uses it.
i will keep the poll open for a while. thanks everyone who has voted so far0
