You should be charging them for having to use 2 days holiday.0

Thanks for your input Arcon5, I have been brought up and leant from the past not to pay for any kind of paintwork until I see it and am satisfied.
Ive been done by some right dodgy garages in the past and I have never been to this on before.
The accident is between me and her so i would have thought the repair funds should come to me to then pay the garage myself when satisfied with the work. If she pays on her card then if there is any issues how am i able to take it up with my credit card company as I have read that im covered if I pay the money onto my card and then pay for the work on my credit card.
What if she's not happy to pay after?
What if you're not happy with the work and she is?0 -

Hmm. Well a lot will depend on how old/what condition your car was pre-accidemt. But I am a tad surprised you are talking this line tbh. You seem to be choosing an un-necessarily potential complicated out-come for yourself over a simple one. After all, you seem to be totally blameless so why should you inconvenience yourself over someone else's negligence?
Go though your insurers.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0 -
You are being too nice imo.
I would just tell them you are going through the insurance, at least you should get a courtesy car saving you 2 days holiday.0 -

That's one of the reasons why my last sentence said; "I agree with most other posters, just hand to to your insurers".PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0 -
