my wife is entitled to £60-45 a week,surely there must be safety net,as i think its to low and even a unemployed get more than this amout

You were continuing to claim PC and she was to get the state pension to which she was entitled topped up to the basic Carer's Allowance plus a Carer's premium?

just found out my wife can not defre her pension and will get £67 a week,

If you think that the calculations are not correct you could check at CAB?
