My advice is to read some of the last 4 pages of POPLA DECISIONS and see what has won, where members have posted their submissions or link from their names to the original thread.

Keep it to the point and you don't need thousands of words,

Equally important is layout. Put your appeal points as numbered headings at the start of the appeal, then use the same numbers and headings in sections below where you expand the appeal points.

Use bold headings in the expended paragraphs and consider italics if quoting anything. A good example of layout is here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5149887 but this is layout I am suggesting, not necessarily content.

Remember that the adjudicator has probably come across your appeal points before, so make them readable with sufficient white space so they don't miss any points.
Finally, when demanding PE to do something for POPLA, put it in bold - eg

"ParkingEye has no signage with full terms which could be readable at eye level, for a driver in moving traffic on arrival.

I put ParkingEye to strict proof otherwise; as well as a site map they must show unedited photographic evidence. A Notice is not imported into the contract unless brought home so prominently that the party 'must' have known of it and agreed terms.
