CLC World - Cornwall - Discounted Break (Sales Pitch or genuine offer)

Options
Hi all, has anyone today had any phone calls from CLC World - Cornwall. Apparently I had 'won' a heavily discounted holiday at their spa resort in Cornwall.

Sounded like a sales pitch to me, just curious if anyone else had anything like this recently. Seems like a lovely place. Quoted me £150 for a few days, when its usually that for a single night, chyeh right lol.

Ho hum there was me thinking I had a winning phone call for legit. Still awaiting my first win :)

In the olden days, by now, we'd have had half a dozen first time posters telling us what a noble and benevolent organisation CLC is :)

Just had a call from them apparently winning a break to my choice of destination (turkey/spain/florida). Had my guard up straight away as i don't enter holiday comps and the first question was about whether I owned my own home.

Went through their spiel and I have 'won' a 7 night family holiday not including flights. £29 admin fee per person should I want to go in the school holidays. they will also give me a £79 shopping voucher.

I do of course have to collect in person to learn about the company before they will give it to me. Brining my partner and ID with me.

Now initial reaction is to avoid like the plague or am i missing something?

I was talking recently to someone who went to the collect in person. It was a seminar with very hard sale and loans to buy time shares at high interest rates with lots of pressure.

    Avoid like the plague,
