Project Solar Experiences?

Hi All,
This is my first post, so bear with me. I've had Project Solar come to visit me to give me a quote for solar panels.
I was wondering if anyone has had any previous experience with this company? Everything seems on the up and up but I've had my fingers burned in the past.
With the rising energy prices, I feel as though solar panels are a no brainer and I'm future proofing myself.
I look forward to your feedback.

Thanks rusty, that's very interesting. I've also been in contact with TP solar, who are much cheaper. Any thoughts on the quality of the solar panels provided?0

Might be best to get a few quotes and post the equipment and costs in here. The guys here know literally everything there is to know about this stuff, they wont steer you wrong!0 -

TP Solar did my install, along with some others on here.
Speak to Paul if you have any questions or concerns, he won't fleece you with no name brand kit and their pricing is good.4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0 -

Yes, TP Solar is excellent. The price you see on their website equates to their quote so they are transparent. Because I though they had been fair from the start, I didn't push them on price.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -
Thanks for the advice guys.
Here are the quotes that I have had:
Project Solar - Evo+10 Black on Black Grade A Mono Panels £6578
T.P Solar - 16 x Sharp panels with a SMA inverter - price including VAT and fitting is £4750.
16 x Canadian Solar panels with a SMA inverter - price including VAT and fitting is £5450
Now, this is where I need the advice. I can obviously see the difference in the quote prices. Is there much difference between the quality of the solar panels as these are a long term investment. If we save the money on the purchase price now, is it going to cost us cash 20-25 years down the line?0 -
A couple of questions for you -
1. What inverter are Project Solar offering?
2. There is not a lot of information on the Evo panels online - who is the manufacturer for them? A lot of panels are manufactured in China and there may not be much difference between them and the Canadian Solar panels.0 -

1. It's a Growatt Inverter.
2. The manufacturer is ECSolar, but I do recall the salesman mentioning a shipment from China. That's all the info I have, sorry.0 -
I believe that both the Evo and Canadian solar panels are mono and I don't think there should be much difference in their performance.
I have a SMA inverter and choose that brand because it had a good reputation in the market and a long history. It's a tried and trusted manufacturer.0
