office outlook help

Stupid me tried to send an e-mail with to big an attatchment. The email is being timed out and I cannot get it deleted as the message comes up already started sending. It is really slowing things down,Can anyone know how i can fix this

    you could try increasing server timeouts,

    in Outlook

    > Tools
    > Accounts
    > select account
    > Properties
    > Advanced
    > Increase timeout,

    you can always set it back when mail sent.

    does working off-line help? you may be able to delete it then?

    Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper
    Check if it is in your "out box" or "draft folder" box, if it is you can delete it from there.

    Thanks for the replies.tried increasing time out but no joy.Still does nothing offline as well. The mail is in the out box. Thanks anyway will persevere.

    If it is in your out box, then you should be able to delete it from there, if you still need to send it, you could,(before deletion), copy and send it reduced or in 2 e-mails instead of 1 e-mail.

    Thanks all Dont know how it happened Switched it off and when i turned ir back on it was deleted. Anway its gone now and computer back to normal .
