The Nov 14 estimate is very low - probably by 700 units.

Is the Jan 14 reading which you say is Actual from.a bill ? Please can you read it yourself - if its an old dial type be very careful.

Did you not correct the obviously low estimate in November and get them to re-issue the bill. I reckon it should have been closer to about 08700 and then based on last year the Jan reading would have been about 09600

It does appear that something has gone awry as you seem to have jumped about 3000kwkh Re check your meter reading and if it really is over 12341 then get right onto them and ask for a meter check as it's obvious that there's an anomaly somewhere.

Suggest you write to them as well as phoning and keep records of all phone calls and communications just in case it becomes a long drawn out affair although it does look like s serious meter misread or miss-entry. Who read the meter on 14th January? and if it was you how did you communicate it to the supplier (phone, text, e-mail, on-line account)

Thanks all, bought house new 3 years ago, so new meter and solar panels for heating installed when purchased.

All readings are from the bills, they read the meter (eon) I thought it was a mistake and checked it myself, I monitored the usage last night and with Tv, oven on for 20 minutes, heating and a few lights we had consumed around 9kwh according to the meter, does that sound right?

I sent an email last night and will call them today to see what happens, not sure I have enough appliances to burn the equivalent of 54kwh an hour?

To clarify usage it had gone from 12341 to 12350 in two hours

Hi, yes I know, the bill for the last quarter averages 54kwh in consumption! I am tiring to establish if the usage last night is correct as I want to identify if the meter is faulty, someone tapped I to my power or if I have a faulty appliance or short in my system
