I am not sure which board to post this, this is not computer related but hopepfully somebody will be able to help me with this. Hubby has been very stupid and inserted a CD in his cd compartment (car)and forgot there was one already in it. Now, the CD is stuck, two of them and they cannot be ejected. Thanks.

Can you remove the unit from the car and then take the top cover off?

Not sure, hubby is not mechanically minded, will get him to try. Thanks for suggesting that.

i had a similar thing happen to me recently

my youngest (2 1/2yrs old) trhought it would be great fun to stick 2 credit cards into my floppy disk drive on the pc

they would not eject at all

so.........

i got the missus's tweezers................

sorted!!!

give it a go if you can access the slot (ooer missus)

The CD drives on your computer (and hopefully in the car too) have a tiny hole near the eject button. This is an emergency eject mechanism. Straighten out a paperclip and push it into the hole carefully (you should feel it trigger the mechanism) and this should eject the drawer for you. It may need a bit of careful persuasion to pull it open with 2 discs in it tho!

some car ones only have a slot, and I suspect this is one; you wouldn't put a 2nd disc on an open drawer
