Legal Action Against Landlord - Disrepair causing heath issues

You do not say whether you have formally reported the issues to the landlord - in wriing, by letter, to the proper address. Have you? When? With what response?
Beyond that, I'd sueggest Environmental Health, and/or move out.0 -

If you are in Scotland the landlord can be forced to carry out these repairs or be barred from renting out homes in Scotland.

The most important issue is your own health and safety. If your doctors believe that the condition of the house is the only or main cause of your illness then you have to move. You should notify your landlord or EA or both in writing and make sure you get a receipt or proof.
You can go to your nearest Citizen Advice Bureau or the community legal center seeking further advice and direction.
Environmental Health would only suggest the same, "move out".0 -
I would get Environmental Health involved even though you're moving out, to ensure the next tenant doesn't have to live with this. I think your legal options are limited unless you can prove that you lost x amount of earnings through ill health.
It cost me £100 to have my gutters cleared and leaky bits fixed. What kind of moron LL skimps on this and risks massively expensive long term water damage to their asset?They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -

Ask the agent for a ‘final viewpoint’ email or letter as they are it seems failing to manage your property properly.
Then contact The Property Ombudsman as you may have a right of redress without going to a solicitor.0 -

Since 1st October 2014, the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 S83 requires letting agents in England to sign up to one of 3 schemes:
* The Property Ombudsman
* Ombudsman Services Property
