Vertical cracks under bay window... buying a house.

Hi,

I am looking to buy a 3-bed semi build in 1930s but during the viewing i noticed cracks on the upstairs bay window.
The cracks are either side of the bay, beginning from the bottom of the windowsill and going vertically all the way down to the floor, approx. 1-2mm thick. I checked the flooring and do not see any signs of lean/dip.
Windowsills are wood construction and doubleglazing seems to be fairly new UPVC.
If these are structural problems would they be covered by home insurance and im guessing they will have to be declared.
Anyway im about to place an offer just in case these (hopefully) are cosmetic, i will try to post some pics up soon.
