Tell you what I did, then.
Booked two singles (out from Stansted, back into Manchester) and paid with the fifty quid TCB money (plus an extra five or so in actual money). Went onto Expedia today and splurged on the Hampton, paid with Nectar points plus 25 quid. So I'm going to have a decent weekend, and the flight timings mean that I get almost a whole extra day in Warsaw for free.
Now, what do I need to see?0 -
The tomb of the unknown soldier. I'd taken a load of pictures and was about to leave when the soldiers/guards started marching around the monument. A bit bizarre for a city centre park!
I was there on NYE so the museums were shut, but I enjoyed pottering around the old town having a coffee here and there. I was only there for one day but have been pondering trying to fit in another visit in March/April.
A warning about polish food - when they bring you bread, it's not usually butter in the pot, it's lard. Borsch with dumplings is divine though.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
