Morning all - and some advice please.
I have a small default from BG due to fairly extenuating circumstances (£120 and illness). I'm looking to request a removal of default and the folks on the forum have suggested that I write a nice letter to the office of the CEO explaining the circumstances.. So the question is, does anyone know who best to write to ?
many thx in advance

You're very unlikely to get the default removed, however.
My understanding is that companies that report to credit agencies are obliged to be truthful - if you genuinely defaulted, it is their duty to report it.
You can always add a Notice of Correction to your credit file with the 3 agencies:
Notices of Correction
Details of any statements you have asked to be added to your credit report to explain an item of information on your report which is factually correct but you believe creates a misleading impression.0
