DH and I share the same computer.


We both have email addresses. He receives emails fine to his inbox but when he sends an email, it automatically sends it using my email address so when someone replies, I get their reply.


Does anyone know how I can fix this?

If he's using an email client, he just needs to change the default "from" field to whatever email address he wants to appear as the "sender".

Maybe the email client is only using a single profile, so when you set up your accounts, the default sender (which was previously "DH") was overwritten with your details.

You may be able to set up separate profiles (one for you, one for him) so that the defaults are applied depending on which user is logged in to the PC. Or you may just be able to select the "sender address" from a drop-down menu when you compose a new message.

Yes just had another look and as you so rightly say I changed his details to the default away from mine and now it works, so thank you.
