Sounds like the evil witch that sent it actually used an invoice from her workplace who are denying any involvement and hopefully decide to dismiss her, she obviously disturbed
Had she spoke to anyone about this she would also know she has no case because although parties still have to be paid for even if you don't turn up (breech the contract), guests do not pay even if they DO turn up
= she has suffered NO damages

No it's not the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Not even the most ridiculous thing seen on MSE! There was someone on here the other day advocating helping yourself to goods in a shop to the value of something they had bought from the said shop that had subsequently broken.0
