“Cracks in ceiling after installing loft insulation!”
Mark group fitted loft insulation leaving me with a large crack across my ceiling and smaller cracks in the bathroom from where they rushed and must have slipped! I didnt notice this at first as I was working away but when I came back I noticed small fragments of paint on the ceiling so reported it about 3 weeks later. They are avoiding my calls even though I have made a complaint with head office and they decided it wasn't there responsibility as apparently the loft insulation wasn't fitted to the edge of the roof space!!! That's like 3/4 foot not insulated!! ALL LIES I had a roofer out who replaced some tiles and he said that where the crack is there is their insulation in this area!! I have chased and logged complaints numerous times, no one ever calls me back I am fuming with them! The assessor who initially came out was lovely and that's why I chose them I didn't check reviews here. While I was waiting for the insulation I referred 6 friends and family to them as well! What a fiasco! I'm going to take this as far as I can legal wise as they are not getting away with it! No one else has been up in the loft so not sure how they can say its not them!

I suppose it is like any company, they are only as good as the people they employ. We had them for our loft insulation about 4 years ago and they did a really good job.
There will always be the exception where problems occur,it is how they are dealt with that matters.Sorry to hear you are struggling with that.0 -
