not just getting a copy of your report...a creditor looking at your file with a view to give you credit would, even then tho, for a mortgage not so much, and it only affects your file for a short time, stays on for a year but creditors only tend to look at the last few months searches.
No hard and fast rules tho.0 -

I can't see that on Noddle, I can just the monthly status updates. I originally defaulted in May 2009 which is when I sent up the DMP.
Do you recommend a different credit report checker to see more info?
Thanks for your help by the way!
If a default has been registered then the default date should be available in the detail of the record on noddle. Noddle contains all the information from your callcredit statutory file.
As someone has suggested though - it would also be sensible to know what is on your credit files with experian and equifax.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

It doesn't, no.
Furthermore you'd be wise to ignore said "score." It's a computer generated number and means nothing, basically!
Your credit history and account conduct is what potential lenders will look at when you apply for credit...It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
If you got the Default in May 2009, it will drop off in May 2015, which will mean your credit history will not show the default.0
