Hi, just wanted to say thank you to this forum, I received a parking ticket whilst eating and drinking at Starbucks Stansted as I had overstayed the 1 hour limit, by four minutes (no one brings this to your attention and the signs are so small you miss them!),and lets face it Starbucks are not the friendliest or most efficient staff around, BUT thanks to the info on this forum I followed all the instructions and appealed, and POPLA agreed MET did not have a leg to stand on ticket withdrawn and no fine, so please see all the advice and follow it through to the end, it is a long drawn out process but well worth saving the £85.00.

Funny that the BPA were on the radio today swearing that parking companies would not issue charges for being 15 minutes late. They were telling the truth! They issue them for being 4 minutes late!Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0
