You just know you won't be picked when you see all those over-the-top posts, and especially when you see the sob stories. But I can't blame them for going with a sob story, because I probably would too!0

'Brown nosing' that is fab! We usually say 'bootlickers' where I am!
I saw a HUGE poem written by a 'brown noser' on Facebook the other day! I cannot remember which comp it was for? I did have a giggle!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I sometimes get shared or tagged on a comp and I feel like commenting '!!!!!!? Who in their right mind wants to win this piece of !!!!!!?'.“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

I posted this on another thread not so long ago..i hate the cringy comments such as:
"I'd sky rocket to the moon if i won" urgh.
I just have mental images of them floating to the moon with some tacky prize in their hand. Its not just one person that uses that line either, theres a few.. how would the hosts choose which one to sky rocket to the moon?
I'm having an eye operation in two weeks, maybe i should play on that. "that 50p scourer will enable me to adjust to my new life without double vision" "wow, im glad ive got rid of my double vision, i can see what a beautiful scourer it is!"0 -
i cant stand all that expeically the death ones-i actuall think its insulting even if its trueWhat goes around-comes around0

And that's for a used condom, can you imagine how they'd feel if it was an unused one.“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

Haha! This was such a funny read- I like to write sky rocket to the moon on my FB comments- it's lighthearted & breaks up the monotony of "liked & shared" I won £10'000, 2x iPad Airs, 2x iPad Minis, 5* spa break to Dublin, £1000 diamond necklace, 2x kindles, a year's supply of pizza, a £500 treadmill + lots more across xmas so must be doing something right hey? You could maybe imagine me floating off with all of that if it makes you feel better! I think maybe positivity attracts good things.0 -

Nah - it's cringey. You know it's cringey too.:rotfl:And if you're doing it when it's not a specific requirement of the competition then it's almost like trying to get yourself an edge over others - which I find.......I dunno - a bit questionable to be honest. But you obviously think it's the answer to winning so I suppose you'll go on.:cool:0
