New mortgage with 'consent to let' on another

I currently let out a property that I have a homeowner mortgage for which I have been given consent to let by my mortgage provider. I have a good tenant and am happy for this situation to continue.

I live with my partner in a house that she and her ex-partner own (mortgaged) and our intention is for me and my partner to get a new mortgage together so that we can effectively buy out the ex-partner.

So based on my situation, I'm wondering if my consent to let mortgage would adversely affect a mortgage application for a new mortgage with my partner?

Also, what would the new mortgage company want see in relation to the existing arrangement (tenancy agreement, proof of rent, etc.)?

Thanks in advance.

I got a new residential mortgage last year (pre-MMR) while I still owned a property with CTL, although the tenant had gone and the property was For Sale (I had found a buyer, but had not yet exchanged contracts).

It will affect the mortgage application as it affects the affordability of the new loan. Exactly what evidence is required will depend on the lender and how much margin of affordability there is on the new mortgage. I'd suggest using a mortgage broker to find lenders that will accept this situation.
