Isolator switches and meter tail upgrades - hidden costs of replacing a fuseboard

Good post mttylad.
Can I just ask for clarification - wouldn't the supplier have changed the tails and installed an isolator when they changed the meter rather than getting the DNO there as well?
TBH, I cannot recall if it was actually the DNO or the supplier?
I think it was the supplier that arranged this, they only fitted the isolator because I asked - it's part of the meter - a user section with isolator. Which also meant new tails.0 -

Have been told today that I need an Isolator switch. Very helpful lady at npower Meter Plus that the supplier will visit for free whilst electrician on site to remove seals to let own electrician fit the switch and then reseal.0

The work will be done by (or contracted by) your DNO-what region are you? Nothing to do with the supplier.
