Help, no cold water in upstairs bathroom

The kitchen sink one is fine, just a dribble from the cold water taps. It wasn't especially cold last night so wouldn't have frozen over.

I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but yesterday someone collected my washing machine (gave it away) I'd unplugged the power and let him do the water bit.

Is it possible that he's turned off my water?

I'm really not confident with plumbing things and wouldn't know what to look for.

Can anyone advise please?

You need to call a plumber.

I called a plumber. He asked if I had a water softener (I do) and said it sounded like they turned that off in error.

He is going to the house today to look and put it back on for me.

Have you told them that you have had to pay for a plumber to sort out what he did?
