Ipad sending out duplicate emails

Hi. I've noticed that when I've been sending emails from my ipad that every few over the last couple months has been duplicated a few hours later or even the next day . As each one is the same message but has a different time stamp. It's very frustrating as I enter competitions on the board and this is making many of my entiries void.
I use yahoo mail
I was wondering if it's sending the duplicates from my drafts .. Which I've now emptied
The problem only seems to occur when sending emails using my ipad and not my laptop. Can someone please help me rectify this
