Selling car that's overdue for cambelt change

The moral thing to do would be to mention it.
You don't legally have to, unless the buyer asks - in which case if you didn't the buyer would have a claim if anything failed that was attributed to the cambelt.0 -
Depends what car?. Something simple someone can chuck a belt on in no time themselves or not not a lot of labour wouldn't make much difference.. Adjust the price slightly. Something that takes time and is a nightmare job then people will probably show less Interest0

eBay on a banger? Talk up its good points, describe the rest honestly, get some great pics and let the great unwashed descend.0

This is actually the first time in over 30 years of car ownership that I'll be selling a runner, so not quite sure what's expected - legally, morally, or by eBay rules.
I'm going to list all the actual faults - things that don't work - but is it actually expected that you spell out neglect of service intervals, so long as you don't claim the opposite?0 -

X reg Civic. Auctioning, so no price to adjust.0 -

Don't mention that it's overdue one; it's the buyers responsibility to ask.
Currently helping sister in law find a small runabout; and advising it'll be a necessary immediate £300 expense if overdue (I'm capable of doing the job, but unprepared to on someone else's car due to the potential consequences of anything going wrong!)0 -
I wouldn't bother with a new cambelt on a car worth just a few hundred quid. It could be worth more than what the car is. If it does go, just scrap the car and get another.0
