Recent Victim of Fraud Am concerned

Hi I recently had my bank order me a new card when I upgraded my account. The staff member from the bank assured me my pin would stay the same. Little did I know they had ordered me a new pin without my permission, unfortunately as I have a shared mailbox both were intercepted and about £2400 taken from me.

I am worried now that there will be a black mark against my address. Am I overreacting or can this affect me in future when applying for new accounts?

Addresses aren't marked as you say OP, in future OP see if you can get cards etc delivered to local branch, I know some banks offer this service.

Have you told the bank about the £2400 wasn't you.

Yes and it has already been refunded, Bank card has now been ordered to my local branch which I will collect and then ring in to order a new pin.

There won't be a black mark against you at the address, but if the bank decides to report it to the police then I'd expect someone who lives there to have bigger problems than just a damaged credit record - sadly they probably won't bother and the thief will get away with it.
