We were quoted £1,440 by a plasterer for skimming and some 'roughing out' of all rooms in a 3 bed semi, although there ended up being some boarding required in the kitchen and bathroom when all of the plaster fell off the wall as we were taking tiles off, so it came to a bit more in the end. We also had the ceilings boarded out for an additional £770 as they were lath and plaster and not in great condition. Overall I think we got a good deal and would use him again. He also fits bathrooms so would probably be able to do the other jobs as well. He's in Bramley, Leeds, so not far from Bradford.

He did numerous other jobs for us too, including moving and removing walls (he fitted an RSJ between our kitchen and dining room, merged our bathroom and toilet and moved the wall under the stairs), fitting skirting boards, bricking up a hole in the side of the chimney breast where he'd removed an old back boiler, patching up holes outside where extractors and pipes had been moved, turning the original doors and getting them to fit as well as patching up the holes where handles and hinges had been on the other side, building a cupboard (window height) under the stairs, moving/fitting a new loft hatch and making a new, much more secure door for our under house storage.

He was recommended by a friend so there are at least two of us happy with his work lol :) If you want to see some pics, let me know!

    Hope your baby is okay.
