Camping - Electrical Hook Up

Hi,
Once the camping season starts I am heading off down South and have booked a site with an electrical hook up rather than spend a number of days using the gas stove.
Am I right in thinking I could simply buy an outdoor 16A 240v plug (one of then blue type ones) and fit onto a 13A 240v 4 way extension lead to supply the electrical stove and other small items such as a phone? would it also be recommended to use some kind of surge protection device to protect items such a phone chargers?
Cheers!

Use one one of these, regularly available around £30 to £35 and occasionally in Lidl or Aldi.

Also the post may have a 6 amp to 16 amp maximum. But that maybe shared with 4 other users. So high power appliances may keep tripping the breakers.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
