Does calling the AA to lower price have compounding benefits over time?

Hi guys,
For the last 3 years I have called the AA when my renewal date comes and I have always convinced them to charge me the same amount as the previous year.
My understanding is that if I had not negotiated the price then it would have gone up every year.
Just curious if this can last for say another 10 years and "beat inflation" although it's not really inflation as it's just their stupid policy.
For the record I know that there are more financially savvy options than the AA but I am quite happy staying with them as I find them convenient and they have always been very good when I needed them.

I think you are giving them too many chances. I give them one chance at renewal time, if they try to rip me off I go elsewhere.0

Never allow them continuous authority renewal .
One payment = 1 year, they call you then with the deal.
If they dont you switch.
Loyalty is an expensive one sided hobby these days.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
Never stay with the same provider as you won't be able to take advantage of cashback deals:

The RAC actually had a clause (last time I checked) saying renewal customers can not take advantage of new customer offers for a period of 90 days following expiry of the policy. They'd rather drive existing customers away. :rotfl:0
