Yahoo mail and calendar issues

Yahoo has been playing up for weeks but now the calendar will not let you save new events or alter exisiting - cannot get answer from Yahoo.

Comes up error 500

Using firefox. Tried i.e. and same thing.

Can anyone recommend a desktop calendar ?
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.

    thanks but do not download email - prefer to leave online. are there any standalone dairy's that can be kept on desktop

    You can set thunderbird to leave the mail on the server.....

    You don't have to use the email part but you need it to run the second program.
