Hi - I have a mifi unit (Vodafone R207 which is the same as Huaewi E5330.
It has successfully been unlocked so it can now use 02 data sim card.
However although I can now find it listed as an available wifi point, I can't connect to it.
From 192.168.1.1 page, under router settings, it shows LAN as Vodafone etc - I assume these should be changed to 02 settings.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks

Thanks for the help - but I am still stuck
is this the right page to start changing settings on?
Found this other giffgaff guide for the actual unit however my page still takes me to a vodaphone page rather than Huaewi.
Hope someone can help some more please!

Try;
IP type: IPv4 + IPv6
IPv4/IPv6APN: dependent on SIM type. For example: m-bb.o2.co.uk
IPv4/IPv6 number: *99#
Security: PAP or CHAP
Username and password as indicated in my earlier post or Username: o2bb
Password: password
Any problems, drop down to IPv4 only.0 -
Thank you so much - really appreciate your help.
Just a few questions - can I change the name of the network from Vodaphone? If so, how do I do that and will it change the wifi password needed?
Will I always be redirected to the vodaphone page as the 'home' page?
If I took the unit on holidays with me, will I always need to get similar new settings from the foreign mobile company?0 -

Don't understand your first question. You should have complete control over the WiFi password. They have just given you a Default option.
Second, yes, unless you install the Huawei Firmware.
Always good to have the APN details at hand, just in case.0 -
Thanks again.
My first question wasn't worded too well sorry!
Currently on my list of available networks is vodaphone mobile (or something similar) - can I change this to something like PC mobile. And in doing so the wifi password (as currently printed on the wifi unit) will remain the same or can this be changed by me?0 -

Have no idea as to why you want to change it, but either way, the WiFi password is completely independent.0
