I bought a car on 20-dec-14 and this guy sold me with 12mth warranty. Also his ad said multi cd changer. After i bought the car ,I found it's single CD, and also has cigarette lighter not working. Which I thought fuse problem and local garage said it has some problem inside. Hence I stopped him not to work on this ,as I get warranty from garage. After many days of persistence, this guys now emailed my warranty. Tried to contact the warranty company, but can't get thru them.
what action i can take against garage, to sort these things, please advice.

They will just say the CD changer was a genuine mistake. You tested it and should have spotted that. Although some single slot CD players will accept miltiple discs. All top secret spy cars have them.
Lighter socket not working. That will have been replaced when they deactivated the missile launcher and ejector seat.
Check the lighter socket for coins and replace the fuse.
Garage say it has some problem inside? Inside what?
Not really a warranty issue.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Reworded to ensure people actually help.
I brought a car on the 20th of December last year with a 12 month warranty. It was sold under the premise of having a Multi-CD Changer. I have since found out that it is a single CD and the cigarette lighter hasn't worked.
I took it to a garage as I assumed it was a fuse issue however the garage has stated that there is a issue inside the electronics that is causing the lighter to stop working.
I finally received the warranty details from the seller, but I am unable to get through to them in order to resolve these issues.
What actions can I take in order to resolve my issues.

Is the warranty with an independent company and not the dealer? Your garage should find the problem (you may have to pay for this bit) then contact the warranty company to authorise the repairs.
A used car warranty won't cover everything, in fact, some cover not a lot at all. Read the warranty to see what is and isn't covered.
If the warranty is with the garage, take it back and ask them to fix it0 -
You won't get a penny out of them.0

the warranty with third party guys, premium warranty from autoguard
Tried to contact them, but never able to spoke a to a person there.0 -
What are you claiming for under the warranty? The lighter socket thats probably a fuse or coin dropped into it? No that wont be covered.
You have not said what is actually wrong with it other than 2 minor issues, neither of which would be covered or worth claiming for.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
