Disabled Car with Disabled Tax

Charliebrown68
I have disabled tax on the car through my mother's DLA.
I was with my mother parked in a Retail Park and the was a guy going around checking cars in disabled bays.
We were parked in a disabled bay but put up my expired blue badge (by mistake, should of put my mother's), I have not renewed mine.
The guy informed me it was all digital now and would know through the vehicle reg number.
Is it likely I will get a notice in the post to pay a charge?

Did he take any photos of your car? Which Parking Company? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Senator Security are no longer members of an Approved Trade Association (used to be with the BPA) and would now be unable to get hold of your details from the DVLA. So I doubt you'll hear any more.
Come back in the highly unlikely event you hear anything.

In addition to the situation outlined in #1, I would also like to mention that the Car Park is Free to park all day.
What grounds would they try to claim a charge on?

None - because they can't get your details, so rehearsing hypotheses is rather pointless. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

also worth noting that tax discs no longer exist , they were phased out last october so "the guy" was right, its all done digitally now
and a BB isnt relevant on any private land, but the EA2010 is , irrespective of showing a BB or not0
