edf energy useless
:mad:daughters heating and hot water went off last night
landlord sent engineer
its a problem with the meter outside rang EDF
who replied after much waiting on phone this useless customer service person who tried to get her to check the boiler
she handed the phone to her engineer
who said it was the meter outside
she then said we can fix it feb 9th and you will have to get heaters to warm the house
my daughter has two small kiddies 3 and 18 months one poorly with a chest infection this is not good enough
eventually after 3 hours off phone calls apparently they are sending some one out
what can we do if they don't turn up

Is it electricity or gas? This should have been raised an an ESO (Emergency Service Order). If the engineer failts to turn up this can be raised as a GSS (Guaranteed Service Standards) with EDF Energy who will investigate why any engineer has failed to turn up on an appointment, and re book at the earliest possible time.0

hi its for gas they wanted to fix it in feb its the gas box outside its not pushing the gas through so wont fire up the boiler

just to update you engineer been took all of 5 mins all working he could not believe they wanted her to wait till 9th feb said with kiddies it should have been like you said eso
so all is well
but will be putting a complaint into edf0 -
