in Techie Stuff
Beacause my computer is on it's last legs and won't let me burn anything to dvd I decided to buy a memory pen to save all the stuff from my computer before I buy a new one.
I bought new 8gb USB Flash Drive from a seller on E-bay with good feedback (stupidly perhaps). When I plugged it into my USB port AVG immediately popped up with a warning as there was a file on the drive called
Date B.exe
AVG quarantined I-worm/brontok.c
I have since run an AVG scan on my c drive and no warning has come up.
Have I safely got rid of the problem? Is there anything else I should do?
Also as a non techie aside, any ideas what I should say to the ebay seller as I a pretty miffed to get a product with a free virus already installed on it.
Thanks guys
