Independant garage or franchised dealer?

Hi my Nissan Qashqai is 3 yrs old and due its annual service, does it make any difference where I have the service done? franchised dealer seems to be expensive?

Depends if you need to make a warranty claim, Or a claim outside the warranty.

Get quotes elsewhere and haggle the franchised dealer down.

At 3 year's old it's now out of warranty anyway. But if it were not, using an independent should make no difference to a warranty claim as long as approved Nissan parts are used.

Nissan's service website says they will price match service prices within a certain radius, so it may be worth giving that a shot as you'll still get full vehicle breakdown cover (RAC) for a year:
