active x help

Can anyone help please.I have a British gas home top up machines,they were fine to use on Tuesday,now when I try to use them my pc tells me I need to download active x but the bar to use to download is not showing and it was already downloaded anyway.I cannot find out anywhere what to do

Have a look here in case you've turned off ActiveX.

Better still, ask British Gas why they think it's still the 1990s.

Make sure you have Internet Explorer's latest version of Active X installed.

Once you click the link, scroll down to the heading WINDOWS and the first link is what you need. Once installed restart your PC and try again.

As cookie365 has stated, make sure you have active x turned on as well.

Thanks red- army I have done what you said,but it tells me I already have it installed.I have also checked everything to do with active x are on enable but still not working.

So, are you using Google Chrome to access the page, or Internet Explorer?

Try using another web browser other than Internet Explorer to see if the problem persists.Any will do, Firefox, Google Chrome etc...
