    But if you get a proof of posting it doesn't really matter whether it's arrived or not as you can claim the full cost of the item and the postage from Royal Mail.

    I agree, one idiot sent something costing £1.99 by recorded delivery. Nothing in the listing to indicate it would be sent using a signed for service. Sellers who waste my time and money in this way get feedback and stars to reflect.

    Be careful because some sellers will presume you are simply trying to get freebies with that behaviour, because that's what it looks like.
