International Power Shares

My father, who now has Alzheimer's, held some International Power shares. I've been helping him log in to Equiniti where his portfolio is listed and there is a zero against those shares where he had 2000 shares. No value and he doesn't know what's happened to them.

Can anyone shed any light on what has happened to them. He doesn't remember at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Int Power was taken over by GDF Suez, the final takeover was about 2 years ago.
Your father should have had a cash payment somehow.

Thanks for the info. I think my father had just over 2000 shares, and I've looked up the historical share prices and I'm sure my father didn't get proceeds of the takeover. I'm going to contact the administrators of International Power to see if he is owed any money.
