More detail required...
Why haven't you got the old card?
Can you get a replacement?
Which card are you applying for/have you already applied for? (money transfer may be an option)0 -
Telephone the old card issuer - they should have the information for you.0

Ring the card issuer and ask them for your expiry date they may tell you over the phone.
Alternatively just request a replacement card.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
If the account was closed off to new spending (following rate-jacking opt out) then some providers have been reported on here as not being forthcoming with expiry date detail (when asked for BT purposes).jonesMUFCforever wrote: »Telephone the old card issuer - they should have the information for you.
Also, if the old card expired and wasn't replaced then there isn't an expiry date.
That's why I asked for more detail.0 -
It was an egg card and now with barclaycard, account was closed so just paying off the debt
New card with Halifax0 -
Make up an expiry date?
Most providers don't ask for it when doing a balance transfer, so it's probably not required for the transfer to go through.0 -

New card with Halifax
I used to have an Egg card. When they took over the business they they will have set you up a new account with new card(s). Best thing is to ring them.
Just to add complexity, and dependent on what happened with your account, they have since changed that card over to another account (the Amex / Visa cashback cards).0
