Natwest Advantage Gold Success

Yesterday I received a phone call from a FOS adjudicator to say my claim against NATWEST for my old packaged bank account was a success.
It will be 12 months in March from my first letter to the Natwest so its taken a while but worth it.
Refund to be paid back £1284.
I added my ex partner approx six months after I opened the account in 2005 and she was a joint account holder for approx four years and she was removed in 2009 so the fee refund is 50/50 during them years. The account was completely closed in 2013
It worked out approx 70/30 split my way of £1284. Just short of £900 my way plus no fees to pay to a third party.

cheers

  • That's great news I was debating if to try for a refund myself. Can I ask how you started the ball rolling?
    Thanks
