Confused! 24+ funding for full package course?

Hi, I am seeking to change career to become a personal trainer and at present have no qualifications in the field, only personal experience. This means I need to do a level 2 gym instructor course then the level 3 personal trainer course. I've searched and better searched for funding for the level 2 as I cant afford to pay for the whole course myself but can't seem to find anything at all however I keep coming across courses that do level 2 & 3 as one block and I was wondering if I might be eligible for that? Can anyone advise? Many thanks in advance for any help & advice!
My situation is I am a stay at home mum (previously employed as a management accountant) and my husband works full time as a police officer. We can't afford to pay the whole cost of a L2 course so I am trying to find out if there is any help available.

24+ funding is only for level 3 and 4 courses.
You would need to ask the college if you can get funding for the 2&3 course combined.
Some college courses, even those at level 3 or 4, aren't available for the 24+ funding due to the college not accepting it. Some colleges believe it's unfair on those under 24.
If you don't have level 2 already, you may get it at a reduced rate, or even free - you'd need to ask the college.
Or you could start saving for this course and do it when you can afford it? Appreciate it may be a year or two later than you wanted, but could you not try working part time to cover the cost?Aqua £160.00 / EE £289.60

Isn't level 2 equivalent to 5 decent gcse grades (C and above)? If I'm right, you wouldn't be entitled to any funding on the grounds that that is further not advanced education. If you already had a clutch of gcse awards, you would also be denied on the grounds that you already hold a qualification at that level.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
