Armtrac refusing to give owner details.

Hello I sent a letter to armtrac security services requesting many things

one

was owner ship of the land.

"""Please can you tell me who owns the car park and what is the relationship between! The land owner!and yourselves? Please explain any involvement at all of! The land owner!with yourselves as well as specifically with the Parking Charge Notices. I request the land owners details in order that I may copy them into this correspondence."""

Despite this they refused to give me such details, as it's as they claim a breach of privacy, i am not convinced. so were do i stand ?

They're not under any obligation to provide this to you - not until (if ever) it reaches the Small Claims Court.

Have you tried Google? Are there retailers attached to the car park, if so you could try asking them.

The Land Registry will tell you - just pay them £3 and they'll give you the details.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I know it's only Armtrac, but I hope you're taking more care over the letter than you are with your posts. (Spelling, grammar, punctuation etc.)

The good news is that they have to disclose the landowner if an appeal goes to POPLA...otherwise they will lose.

Fair comment but your efforts are far better concentrated on obtaining the details from the Land Registry and ensuring your appeals to Armtrac and POPLA are winning. As hoohoo has explained Armtrac will have to divulge these details in their reply to your appeal to POPLA (a copy of which should/will be sent to you). Knowing who the land owner is doesn't stop you from visiting the retail outlet again and asking to speak to the manager. Besides all of this, Armtrac may actually be contractrually obliged not to disclose the owners details.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I made that point because I found your posts difficult to read. (And it would seem that at least 2 others shared my view). If your documentation that you send out to Armtrac, POPLA etc was structured in the same way then it wouldn't help your cause - especially at POPLA.

Remember - this is a forum, not IRC. We are allowed to take time with posts here - they don't need to be rushed.
