Hi all
Does anyone know what I should expect to use in electric? It seems massive high this month.
There is two of us in a new build 2 bed terrace. We both work long hours in the week so it is empty most of the time. Our meter states that we have used 424kwh this month putting our bill with gas (gas heating only everything else electric) at about £110 for one month.
Is this high?!
Thanks

about half of that (electricity kwh) if you are led lit and hot water is gas heated, go around noting wattages
£110/month total in winter is not uncommon, depends on your heating.Don't you dare criticise what you cannot understand0 -

Not over high.
How many hours do you have CH and HW on. How many radiators?
Oven on for dinner? Kettle and iron?
Anything that heats up costs a lot.The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -

gas sentral heating ()
night storage heaters
I don't think 14 units per day is excessive at this time of year and no harm in looking for a cheaper supplier.
