Using a BFPO address

My son has just joined his regiment in BFG and has needs me to send over his paper counterpart of his driving license. He's sent me his address, but looking online I'm not sure how to write it on the envelope.
He's given me his regiment, barracks and troop details and basically the postal address of the barracks as well as the BFPO no.
Do I use all of this, or just his regt, barracks and troop details with the BFPO? (I saw an example like this online)
I'd like to get this posted as soon as possible, so before he's clocked off for the day IYKWIM or I'd ask him myself.
Thanks in advance.
ETA: Would it get there quicker if I just use the postal address? I've read it can take up to 4 or 5 weeks using BFPO system.

Address it:
Rank/Name
Service Number
Regiment
Barracks
Town
Country
BFPO Number
So as an example:
Pte Joe Bloggs
12345678
5th Battalion, The Rifles
XXXXX Barracks
Paderborn
Germany
BFPO 1230 -
BFPO post goes through its own sorting system and in theory letters could be there within a week - it depends on how often your son goes to check if he has any post.
Some BFPO addresses have free postage - your PO will know but otherwise its the same postal rates as in the UKMrsBartolozzi wrote: »My son has just joined his regiment in BFG and has needs me to send over his paper counterpart of his driving license. We never waited more than a approx 10 days for BFPO post...
If you use the address without BFPO it would also have to go through the German postal service and stands a higher risk of loss than using the BFPO route.0
