i bought a potato planter & some fertilizer last week as i want to try to grow some spuds this year , was buying Apache ones from Tesco and saved 4 of them for seed so will plant them when the weather gets a bit better"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

The species of the blueberries is Vaccinium corymbosum/bluecrop and I have some ericaceous compost and suitable containers.
Bluecrop is a recognised variety and if it is a decent plant at that price, I might indulge. Otherwise £2-5.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Hello, I have just made a path through our lawn (self-binding gravel) and am now looking at edging to finish the job. Has anyone tried the roll of willow edging, £1 for a metre in Poundland? Seems quite good value, but it would be great if anyone has bought this last year (or earlier!) and can recommend. Alternative suggestions also welcome. We need about 50metres of edging, so cheap as possible please! Thanks in advance for any views or suggestions. ER:-)I am not young enough to know everything.0

I used the willow edging to hide last year's grow bags. It's gone a bit mouldy, think it may not last long in contact with soil.
"White buddleia" bought from Poundland isn't a buddleia, the leaves are wrong. Time will tell what it is.0 -
Thanks for the feedback. I see Wilko.com has log roll edging for £3.50 for 1.8 metres, and that looks even better, but no chance of the 30 or so I need. They have TWO! The search continues.....I am not young enough to know everything.0

I bought the willow edging this time last year to edge a small border, it lasted well for me and it still looks good now, although I think one more year is probably all it would last. For me it's cheap enough to just buy more and replace as I only used four rolls!0
