            Foxgloves I'm a complete Stardrops convert too, but I think I must be using it a bit too liberally as I think my bottle will probably last about 3 months. I just love how shiny it makes my sink and oven, but perhaps I don't need as much? Any tips?
 :rotfl:I'm laughing at the idea of sharing baths! Our bath is so small, I can barely fit into it, and I don't think my tall OH has ever used the bath for that reason!0

            Hi Ratison,
 Well, I don't know about tips.....we may just have different standards when it comes to cleaning, lol. I wipe kitchen surfaces & hob down daily if necssary, but only do a whole house-clean once a week (Friday). I do use Stardrops neat on a sponge for tough to shift spills, but for the majority of jobs, I use it diluted. I make up a solution in a recycled spray bottle & it lasts ages. I do use a few other cleaning products, but not many. I buy washing up liquid for dishes, obviously, but also use for shifting grease & pre-treating stains on clothing, loo cleaner which I also use for bleaching out bins, soda crystals for tough jobs like oven cleaning, unblocking drains & soaking whites & that's about it. Oh, & I do currently have some stainless steel cleaner but only cos I won some (what a breathtakingly exciting prize that was!) I use washing up liquid solution with a dasdh of vinegar or lemon juice for window cleaning & polish it off the old-fashioned way with scrunched up newspaper. Oh, & I buy Aldi Almat powder for laundry. Despite enjoying lots of old style stuff - cooking, baking, preserving, gardening, crafting, recycling, etc, I don't like cleaning & spend as little time on it as I can get away with given that I do like a clean house!

            Hello all,
 My DFW things this week:
 * Got paid today with two hours overtime. Cleared my OD by £500
 * Calculated that with 26.5 hours overtime in Jan, I'll have an extra £345 to play with in Feb...
 * Taken on some extra responsibility at work, will be happy to see this reflected come pay review time
 * Set up TSB account, deposited £2,000 savings, set up standing order. The interest should be about £6.70/month after tax if I'm right
 * Balanced bank accounts w/ me & hubby
 * Gave notice to get married! Money-saving as we chose the cheapest option :rotfl:
 * Booked Dr.'s appt to try and get vasectomy reversal on NHS
 * Bought three tees in the sale, amounting to £12 each from Jack Wills
 * Picked up my ASOS parcel, will be returning one tee (+£10) and exchanging another for a larger size
 * Attempted to return my Christmas gift - now waiting for the store to get some gift cards ordered in so I can either swap it for a teeshirt I like, or give it as a gift to someone
 * Bought my lunch from Pound Bakery - any baguette for £1!
 * Got receipt for taxi, hopefully getting an £18 refund as OH's work offered to pay for it
 * Written complaint letter to insurance requesting the correct amount for my premium refund, and the compensation they promised me. Received a letter acknowledging my complaint
 * Loss of earnings due to car accident confirmation
 * Attempted to book driving lesson, first two hours for £35 - v moneysaving
 * Eaten entirely out of stores & purchased reduced food
 This week/weekend I will:
 * Batch cooking
 * Return ASOS things0

            Mr f got back with the shopping, which included extras not on the list, so I was hoping he'd stuck to my budget which was a maximum of £52. Could tell he was chuffed with himself, with the speed at which he produced the recept! £39. Was pleased with that because Jan is a long month & we always used to go over. We do shop around & use Waitrose & Co-op for some things, plus local market & independent shops, but our main grocery shop is now Aldi & it's definitely keeping us within budget. If we have another good one next Friday, I'll have a bit of grocery budget left to pay into savings & that's what this year really has to be all about.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
