I have a couple of store cards that I had back in 2001, they are cleared but I haven't got any paperwork etc.
Do I ring the company to get them removed or the credit file agency??
Thanks

If they are still open accounts, contact the company to close them.0

Thank you, I will give them a call. Will they still be able to fond old accounts that over 10 years old and the last time they were used and paid off were over 10 years ago?0

If they're appearing on your credit reports, then they will still be open so they should be able to find them.0

They will still remain on your credit report for 6 years from the closure or settlement date. That is normal.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
