The other that sold recently went for over RV too.
Have had five viewers out in two weeks, and now a firm offer accepted.
Well pleased.
As i said though. Wont be banking on it until the money is in our hands.
So pleased for you!
I had an offer yesterday (3rd viewer)...over the RV but quite a bit short of the asking price. I guess people try their luck...viewer said he can't afford any more. That just makes me wonder why people would view something they can't afford...a waste of their time and mine. TBH I'd have to take out a loan to cover the shortfall and even if I paid the same amount monthly as my mortgage/rates etc, it would still take me a couple of years to pay off.
If the estate agents got it wrong and that's what it's worth, it looks like I'm moving back into it."I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." Yes, i can imagine its very frustrating. I guess its people chancing their arm and thinking the market is like it was 5 years ago.
Was speaking to one agent and he said that previously, you would have hoped to get two or three interested parties and that would push the price up, whereas these days it tends to be one person sticks in a cheeky bid and you hope to be able to meet them somewhere close to the middle.
Its like playing snakes and ladders though - just because we've agreed on a price doesnt mean we couldnt be back to square one again at some point between now and the completion date.0
